A Relation between Happiness and Awareness:
The University of Life is established for us to increase our awareness or,
God - Awareness. It is my belief that the more we are advanced in the University
of Life, or the higher is our awareness, the happier we are. We can therefore
relate awareness (or God-Awareness) to happiness, through the following
equation:
H = h + c A
where H is for happiness, A for awareness, and h is the enjoyment we draw
from accomplishing something, eating good food, wearing new clothes, etc., and c
is a conversion factor.
We can look at the right- hand side of the above equation and say that we are
studying in the University of Life to increase our awareness (or God-Awareness),
or look at the left – hand side of the equation and say that we are living on
this planet to be happy; that is, we are born to be happy.
In order to increase our happiness we must first appraise ourselves and find
out how happy or unhappy we are. The science of happinometry can help us in this
appraisal.
